I installed puddle lights on my car, took an hour the second time I did it when I upgraded the LEDs. First time, it took me 2 hours, much easier than expected but it attracts lots of attention.

All these molds look great guys. This may be kind of premature question, but does any of you know somebody that did this same work about two-three years ago?
Premature because it may be new to some of you and have not had this mold done for over three years and may not be able to answer my next question.
Does it crack/break to a point where you have to do it again? I figure with all the maneuvers we do while driving on highways and city streets, these king of molds are prone to some cracking somewhere in there. Don't they or wouln't they? I have seen cracks on cars that have been repaired. That's why I ask.
I also assume that your trunk becomes heavier and must be careful when closing it or it will really crack.

Just some valid question for my better understanding.
Thanks

Nice DIY. Here's the pic of my car when I installed the rear bumper kit.

Default Ok finally done sorry for the crappy pics

Had to wait for the paint to dry all day before I put it back together and then the sun went down. I'll have some legit pics taken with a legit camera soon. Still debating whether I wanna raise my quarters or not to meet the spoiler kinda having a love/ hate relationship with that at the moment but If I do I'm gonna wield sheet metal on to do so that way I wont have to worry too much bout issues with it cracking being paranoid with shutting my trunk etc etc. also I need to post pics of my box soon anyways heres the final results for now enjoy and thanks for all the comments, compliments, love hate etc.

More pics can be viewed at this link from my previous mods: http://public.fotki.com/remydee/the-is-journal

looks nice. I can tell where you shaved and reshaped the edges. Another thing I'm not a fan of compared to mine is how it looks like the rear quarter ends and the trunk portion extends further back. I DO commend you for your work though.

yeah like i said I was pretty on the fence about molding the quarters like yours bc I've seen some that have brought out their quarters and some that havent and I like both. so I wanted to see how it is without raising the quarters first. I remember you mentioned yours was raised with fiberglass. I'm planning on using sheet metal should I decide to do mine. post a pic of the top of your trunk if you have one
