In the process of molding my REPLICA Wald Spoiler
*EDITED MORE PICS ON THE OTHER PAGES OF MY PROGRESS. PROJECT ALMOST COMPLETE*
That's right I said REPLICA. I know some people are gonna flame on me for buying a rep but so what? Really when it comes down to it, not everybody has deep pockets to splurge like that, or theres no sense in buying something just for the name when the rep either fits, looks, or is made just as good. Reason why I choose to buy a replica is because I simply see no sense in spending $600+ for a spoiler that I am just gonna mold anyways. I'd much rather put that money towards some other mods. Below are pics of the process so far. I should be done within the next day or so and I'll be posting more pics. Heres a link to other pics of my car so far. I purchased it September 6th,2011.2007 IS250 AWD Fully loaded and certified. Completely stock.. You can see all the mods at this link http://public.fotki.com/remydee/the-is-journal/ Thanks for viewing

yeah, I just think its funny how some ppl really care whether its authentic or not. from what I hear even the authentic wald spoiler fitment still is not perfect so why pay several hunderd dollars more for it? On the rep fitment wasn't really that off prior to the mold if you look in the pic i posted u can see the very small gap on the corner that was on both sides but if you are gonna mold then it doesnt really matter. or if you werent planning on molding I would just suggest drilling holes bolting it down then fill the holes.
Heres the link from the ebay seller I bought it from in case anyone else wants to pick one up

I agree with you on if you're molding it you can buy the rep. My friends have bought the rep and double stuck it. It lifted and fit crappy. I wasn't sure if I was gonna mold it so I bought the authentic. My body guy didn't like the fitment so we molded it including raising the quarter panels to be flush with the wing so there wasn't any drop. Props for doing the work yourself. I'm not a fan on how the seam all across the top shows. Mine is completely flat, but congrats either way.

thanks man the line is actually going to be smoothed out I'm not finished yet. and instead of raising the quarters which I was gonna originally do with sheet metal, I'm gonna sand down a little bit of the sides to match the body line on the quarters
