Default Couple Questions Regarding Winters

Hey so I recently moved from a 2006 IS250 to a 2008 is350. I have my basically brand new 17" tires from the 250. I'm looking at moving them to my 350. So my questions are:

Do I need TPMS sensors in them? (Why or why not) If so do I need to get them programmed at the dealer?

Will 17" rims fit on my 350?

Thanks in advance for your help.

17s are what comes stock on a base model 350, so yes they will fit.

You need TPMS sensors unless you want a warning light and message to be on your dash 100% of the time. The car will "work" fine otherwise though.

SOME tire places have the hardware now to program a set of TPMS to the car, some don't... all dealers will... so call around to tire places and ask first, if not then go with the dealer (who will probably hit you for an hour of labor- 100-120 bucks)
