For a couple months my passenger headlight would go on and off and after couple weeks it wouldn't light up. So I thought its the bulb and bought a new pair to replace, after swapping the bulbs all of them works on the driver side and none work on the passenger side. So I thought its probably the ballast or igniter or something, took it to dealership thought they can fix it under my extended warranty. They call me back saying its the ECU of my AFS and i need to buy a brand new headlamp assembly since it has to come with it (cannot buy separately). They quote me $1081 for just the headlamp! and of course my extended warranty doesn't cover that

The cheapest I can find it is on sewell (which is still $800) but have others have that same problem before?

Kinda surprise on the quality of Lexus since this is my first one with all the other issues over the year i have it... end of my rant today

2006 with 48400+ miles, got the extended warranty from the dealership that sells them and just called them and they said its not cover under the agreement. I ask them if they cover nav because that was my main concern when i bought the car and the salesman said it was covered under the warranty and of course they said that is not covered either. I am in process to cancel my ext warranty and get a partial refund.

extended warranty only cover engine problem thats its and for that price you might as well get a pair of 2011 headlight
