Default Calling all DIYers... What jack do y'all use???

I'm starting to do more of the maintenance myself on my IS350...

I bought a 2 ton jack from my local autoshop (Canadian Tire for all my fellow Canadians), and the jack cannot reach the front jack point under the car while allowing for enough space to actually jack the car up. I am trying to reach the one under the car near the oil pan so I can lift both front tires at the same time. So now I'm stuck with a jack that I cannot return because already used it. I hope to not buy another useless jack...

So my question is what specific brand/model of jack is the best for the IS? and what jack stacks do you all use?

BTW, I am on stock ride height... Thanks in advance.

$100 Arcan XL low profile jack. Bought it from costco. Never had any issue. Any low profile or racing jack will do.

I have craftsman jacks. have had it for a few years now. Since I dropped my car and put my kit on it I've had to drive up onto blocks and then use a scissor jack then I stick my jack underneath and after that the jack stands

My DIY just involves changing the oil so I bought ramps instead of a jack. They work great for anything that doesn't involve the wheels/tires.

I have ramps too... and I agree they are great if you don't need to take the wheels off. I want to my brake pads this weekend though so will need to jack half of the car up... not just one wheel either.

I have the same one (but in black) and it works great. Stock height as well. Its a tight fit with the front lip but it works great.

AFF Low profile jack. It's low and longer than the typical jack, but it still barely clears my lowered car.
