got a noticeable scratch on the front bumper of my ride, after getting the quote to replace it with an oem bumper (and losing my gfx lip) i'm thinking i might as well upgrade while i'm at it

the artisan spirits front bumper looks amazing but will only fit an 09+ 2is?

this is-f style front looks alright but what else in on the market?

2011 bumper fits on 2006, but there might be a reason that they only show it to 09-10 in Sewell, might be the foglight harness. I have 2011 F-Sport bumper on my 2007, but I bought the parts seperately, and currently I'm having problems with the foglights for some reason.

What foglight problems are you having? I have the 2011 bumper as well on my 09, with HID's for fogs, and they work fine. I did have to get a H11 HID kit over my 9006 kit because the 2011 foglights use H11.

If using halogen bulbs, wll need a 9006>H11 harness. The car harness is 9006 but the foglight is H11.

When it comes to lights, I'm not very knowledgable. But something about the harness not fitting the bulb or something like that. I bought HID kit which didn't fit either. I'll check what's my problem and let you know.

That should be an easy fix. '06-'10 foglights uses 9006 bulbs and '11 foglights uses H11 bulbs. The 9006 bulb harness is different from a H11 bulb harness. This is why you cannot plug your car's 9006 foglight harness into the '11 H11 foglight bulb. Easy fix though, there are 9006>H11 harness converters, or you can cut/splice/convert your 9006 harness into a H11 harness.

When you say you bought an HID kit, what exactly didn't fit? Our 9006 foglight harness should plug right into the ballast. I made the error of buying a 9006 HID kit no knowing the '11' foglights are H11. I just bought a pair of H11 HID bulbs and sold the 9006 HID bulbs.

Where can one purchase the 2011 F-Sport bumper? Is it only available directly through Lexus? I recently wrecked my 2IS and am ready to pull the trigger on a new front bumper.

Hi Guys....

I am looking to pull the trigger and convert my 08 350 bumper to the 11 F sport bumper. But I read above that I need to swap out the fog light harness too. Just like to confirm that parts from Sewell will work. This is my Christmas gift / Divorce gift to self LOL....

I bought my '11 parts elsewhere as well. The Sewell kit is listed as complete even though it says '09-'10 models. It does fit pre-'09 because Rash's IS is '07. The foglight harness is the same for '06-'10 because they are the same foglights (9006). Perhaps the Sewell kit include a harness converter? Try talking to Sewell and ask exactly what is included.

just get a hid kit w/ h11 bulbs (i forget what size they are).. the ballast will go into the oem harness and the bulbs will go into the new fog lights eliminating the problem with the 9006/9005 -> H11 !
