How high is your windshield?

Safelite took 3 times to try to install 2 pilkingtons and 1 OEM glass within 4 weeks about a month ago. Had Lexus dealer do it with another LEXUS glass and ZERO issues other than mentioned issues above. Dont push too hard though.
Note to self, after a cut dash pad and bad installs on windshields, safelite in the tampa area.... AVOID like the PLAGUE!!!!

So I haven’t reschedule another go at this yet (suppose to get a call from them). I did get this replace at the dealer, which they get it replaced from a glass shop that’s own by its parent company.
After listening to the noise, I think some of the increase in noise is from the road noise that seems to be coming through/being transmitted by the windshield. I wondering if they put some cheap molding in there that doesn’t isolate the bumps and sound so well.
The installer also replaced the lower part of the piece below the wiper arm (pointed with red arrow on borrowed picture). Does this normally gets replaced? I see on Sewell parts this is $400 (http://is.sewellparts.com/oem-catalo...S350-2008.html 55781E)? The old part was fine… It’s pretty annoying to keep having to deal with this. I’m ready to move on with my life :/

+1 on paying the comp deductible took it to the dealership and had it done, they had their third party company install the glass but it was OEM glass. I read stories about aftermarket glass making the rain sensor not work right, the wipers not wiping evenly and making noises, and glare. Can't go wrong with OEM even if your trying to save some $$$.

I called the repair shop again, and they got Geico to agree to an OEM replacement glass with $0 deductible :-)
The road noise is definitely reduced by maybe 10-20% ... the wind noise might only have reduced slightly, if any at all. Oh well, I'll just live with it. Here's a few pics.
