I purchased volt kit for Fog light a month ago, and it was 6000k, the color is even worse. I got no blue hint at all.Can I get a replacement?

Does this happen a lot? I thought about getting a set for my wifes Scion TC. But I don't want to waist $120. Her HIDextra kit looked great for the $45 bucks I spent at the time. A bulb did go out about 8 months later though.

Is my fog light wrong color for 6000k? Can anyone verify this? If so I will definitely ask for a replacement. Seem to me its more like something 4500k.

mier: Doesn't look wrong to me. What is your order number with us? What type of bulb are you running in your low beams?

mier: There are a couple of things you need to keep in mind:

1) XenonDepot rates their bulbs with true Kelvin ratings. Many vendors do not.
2) Your fog lights are reflective and your headlights are projector.
3) Are you using D4S bulbs or H11 bulbs for your low beams?

From the one pic you posted your bulbs honestly look fine. However, if you are uncertain, please feel free to email me at info@xenondepot.com with a few more pictures and I will gladly take a look.

Popped in the replacement 5000k bulbs from XD along with some 5k LED parking lights from V-LEDs (which match perfect) and we're in business. Gotta say, these replacement bulbs not only match now but are both MUCH brighter than the first set.
In any case, I'm a happy camper and most likely will grab a second system for the fogs. BTW, the bulbs aren't nearly as blue as the icrap pic shows.

Did those lock into place? the 1st pic the output looks scattered, maybe them not locking is the cause of that.

^ They locked in fine this time using the o-ring that came with each bulb. The problem was that there is an additional plastic washer that is installed between the socket flange and o-ring which prevents proper seating of the o-ring and ultimately locking into place.
Not sure if this plastic washer is needed for other applications but there needs to be either a note about this in the directions or removed entirely to prevent confusion.
