10" JL W7 with JL 500/1 v2 Amp and a Custom built box
I had a local guy build me a box to JL specs for my W7.
Very happy with how it turned out, and the sound is amazing.
Here are some pics of the build:

Yeah my only complaint and i'm not sure if I have something not tuned right or it's just with using the stock head unit, but at low volume, there is too much bass. I've read others having this issue and made some adjustments suggested which helped but the issue is still there.
I spent a total of $500 on everything.
$185 for the W7
$150 for the 500/1 v2
$115 for the box
$50 for the JL cleansweep (not using currently bc the guy i bought it from didn't give me one of the wiring harness) I'm thinking about maybe selling it since it probably won't make a difference with me only adding a sub.

I thought about getting the bass ****. I saw a couple on ebay for like 20 bucks. I think I'll probably do that so I have more control over the amp.
I wanted to stay under $500 and I hit it right on. LOL
My cousin gave me his power cable, ground, remote, RCA, and LOC, so I didn't have to pay for any of that.
I'm thinking once I order the wiring harness through JL, I can turn around and sell the cleansweep for about $100 bucks. Hopefully the cost of this project will end up costing me $400 instead. LOL

I've got the same setup except for a 12w6. Getting the bass **** install is a must to fine tune the bass or fix your headache but hate silence lol. Also helped me a couple times passing police. Also you dont need the cleansweep unless your doing a full audio setup.
