kinda seems coincidental that your time away started from after getting called out on trying to flip a that set of (less-than-perfect) WALD wheels in the classifieds for 4x-5x what you paid for them when you bought them from another CL member...

but since it looks like you didn't keep them, you must've sold them to someone else on another forum?

I would like to say that Niloy, in short, has been very distrustful and unprofessional with this sale. First of all he made a profit on these wheels. I was well aware of the fiasco with the wheels, and because I thought he was my friend, I went easy on him. Boy do i regret that now.

He explained that only one wheel had a bend, in actuality 3 out of 4 wheels had bends that needed to be straightened (I found out about this after i gave him my money.) He went on to say that he would replicate the wald centercaps for me cause his "company" can do that kind of work. I did not want to make the purchase if it did not include wald centercaps. I waited for his company to make these caps, and held off the deal until then. After asking him for it a week later he said they turned out like crap. He then compensated by promising me that he would get me the authentic wald caps from a "hookup." He asked me to buy the wheels at that time and he would give me the authentic caps when they arrive. Since i thought he was a man of his word and he seemed like he was in a rush for the money, I only held on to $50 and gave him the rest of the money. I texted him and called him every week asking him about the caps. He insisted they were being shipped. After two weeks he said they finally arrived. I asked if i could meet him up, but he said he was on business trips to Chicago, Florida, and wherever else. He delayed me another 2 weeks. After getting fed up with this, I told him to give me a definite date we can meet up and that I was tired of him pushing me off. We agreed that we could meetup last Friday, he gave me his word. Friday morning i texted him: no response. I then called him: no response. I called him the next day: no response. I texted him the day after that: no response.

He has still not contacted me to this day. I have gone ahead and purchased the wald centercaps from japan for $270 which i definitely did not want to do. I am really not the type of person to complain, but i have been nothing but nice to Niloy. In the end he took advantage of my kindness. If he has any respect for me, he should get in contact with me and return $220.
