I have owned my new to me 2007 IS350 for about a month now and am really loving just about everything about it.
One thing I just cannot figure out is the "ding ding ding ding ding" when I get out of the car. Sometimes its there, other times its not. For example, I'll park in my drive way, push the button to turn the car off, open the door and DING DING DING DING until I shut the door. I cannot figure out why it happens/doesnt happen.
Headlights on? Could be a lot of things. Do you take your seatbelt off before you stop? Read the message centre in the cluster or check the seatbelt indicator when it does it.
It happens if you turn the car off with the door open. When that happens to me, I usually just push the little black rubber button on the door jamb to make the noise stop.
basically when you open your door first with then turn your car off, it will start beeping. so next time just turn your car off first then open your door if you do not want it to beep.
or that happens when you leave the key in there too right? just got my is350 so happy.. but it does that the couple of times i forgot about the key lol

so happy.. but it does that the couple of times i forgot about the key lol
