PIMP!!! This was what inspired me to do this conversion....I can't get enough of how cool that bumper looks on a non-convertible 2IS. Nice work homie....
Was the shop called "A&L" that you went to? I got to find a place to paint my front lip at.
Yeah A&L Auto Body in Palatine....but hold off before you go there....I got to settle something first. If all goes well, then I say go for it....if not, you might have to look elsewhere.
I don't want to bad mouth a business online....especially when I don't know the outcome just yet. Let's just put it this way, after test fitting the bumper today....I realized "something" that put the install on hold for a bit. I will find out the resolution tomorrow and let you guys know.
Hope they resolve it with no set backs and your able to finish this up.
Issue was resolved....the back of the bumper was lightly re-sprayed again because I specifically asked for a Black Sapphire blend in on the back of the bumper...im picky like that! Should have everything test fitted today with the exception of fog lights.
Can anyone chime in on how much a complete front bumper conversion cost? Parts alone would be helpful
Yes, I will post a list of all the parts used with prices. Please keep in mind, the parts I used were ALL BRAND NEW parts, and a majority of them I got with discounts. I got a nice hook-up at Toyota parts. In the meantime, expect over $1,000 on just parts and delivery alone. Paint, etc... will be up to you and your search skills.
