Modern rubber fuel components will not have a problem running E85; heck, I ran E85 on my boosted Civic and it was a '92 yr model. Stock fuel lines and all, just an aftermarket FPR.
Now back to if you can use E85 in ANY stock 2IS...no! When you run E85 you have to flow about 25-35% fuel through the motor, setup dependent. But since their really isn't any feasible way to mod our ECUs, this not a choice for us. Now, if the ECU situation changes and you would like to boost your 2IS E85 would be a great choice...especially with the higher compression of our motors. I loved getting 105 octane from the pump for my boosted Civic.
