It will be cheaper to get a new bumper from Sewell painted than sanding and painting that messes up one. As long as you reported it to YOUR insurance, you should be ok. Did you take pics at the scene?

Yeah, you can ask but I doubt it. SOME policies specifically list that if parts need to be replaced that they MAY use "LIKE" products. Which means Chinese fenders and bumpers. Just saying.

Well thankfully she had a valid license and insurance so I'm not too worried. Apparently she made the claim even before I had a chance to. While I was discussing the accident with my insurance company, they got the claim from her insurance. Not sure if she told lies or not so I guess I have to wait until their adjuster gives me a call. I'm probably going to just take it to a Lexus dealership to fix it the right way in the first place. Currently deciding between Glendale or Longo dealership. Leaning more into Glendale because they offered me a fully loaded IS350C with all F Sport accessories as a loaner when I took my dad's RX350 to fix couple of things. They got me into IS350 in the first place. Two biggest worries at this point are 1. The repair.... I really hope the car looks the same as before.. I know a lot of shops cannot get this right the first time... 2. Loaner vehicle as I really don't want to be stuck in something dreadful.

Don't let that slide... Had a city of houston worker hit me on bunker to bumper traffic and he said the same. Hey no damage its fine. I said hell no, you let me make that call. You hit me. He starts with his il louse my job pitch. Told him that's not my prob.. Told the worker I needed 200.00 followed him to an atm and yup.. Got that money. re painted it for 100.00 I worked at a dealership at that time.fkyafaceon.

That only applies to YOUR insurance. You are not bound by that statement from ANOTHER person's insurance. Demand OEM parts, or have an attorney get in touch with them. Also, demand depreciation compensation since your car will lose value from being in an accident.

Also, since you were rear ended, flop around on the ground like a fish. Everyone else does it.. why not
