Listening to Pandora through Iphone

Have been reading through the posts about getting Pandora to work on a 2011 RX450h (or other Lexus vehicles).
I'm not sure I completely understand what you are all saying. I have my USB cable plugged into my center console and use Bluetooth to make/receive phone calls. I have been using the AUX button on my stereo to play my iPhone music through the stereo system. But like others who have posted, when I try to use the AUX for playing Pandora through the system, I get an error message.
How to do I hook this up to get my iPhone to play Pandora through my stereo? If anyone has detailed instructions, I could certainly use that help.
