hi guys,

Does service history will have detail what TSIB has been done on the car? A friend did a car fax history and I also sign on as member on Lexus website. Both information does not contains TSIB. Is this normal? or my car never done any of the TSIB stuff??

It's entirely possible none of the TSIB's were performed as they are not required. They are only performed if the owner complains and can show proof to the dealer that their specific car is affected. Carfax won't show them but the Lexus service history would. I know when I bought my car used, none of the TSIB's had ever been performed, just a few of the recalls.

I guess it all depends on the dealers and how they enter each service details in Lexus database. I have had a few TSIBs done on my IS, but the Lexus service history doesn't show the TSIB numbers and shows warranty work instead (my actual invoices show the TSIBs numbers though). As anthrax144 said, it is also possible that none of the TSIBs were performed.

TSIBs won't show up on Carfax or Autocheck. At the most, it would show a visit to a dealer and a very brief description of what was done ("Replaced X Part", not "Performed TSIB XYZ"). Where TSIBs will show up is on the Lexus Dealer Service history, but not all the time. I've seen some histories with them explicitly called out (as in it will state on there "Performed TSIB XYZ"), some that state what was done but not the specific TSIB name ("Replaced camshaft gear assembly"), and some that don't show it at all.

The most likely case for it not showing up at all on the service history is that it simply wasn't performed. As stated above, TSIBs are not recalls and are only performed in response to a specific customer complaint, and are only covered by warranty if you're still under it (unlike recalls which are always free).

In any case, your best bet is to post the service history PDF here and indicate which TSIBs you're specifically looking for so people can help.

I'll probably gonna stop by the dealer tom and have them pulled the service history up... I recently purchase 2006 is350 w/ CPO warranty and I want to fix it before end...

here the four I want to be fix

--TSIB NV001-06 2004-2007 ALL LEXUS MODELS; FRONT SEAT SQUEAK NOISE
--TSIB EG019-07 ('06 - '07 IS350): Brief Engine Knock & Rattle Noise At Cold Startup-- haven't notice yet.. but rather be safe then sorry after warranty end...

Sounds like you've done your homework. I'd also throw on there the Dash Rattle TSIB. There's no need to go to a dealer, you can pull up the service history yourself on Lexus.com with the VIN number.

Calvin is right, no need to go to the dealer they will pull up the samething you can do yourself here:

^ Just input the VIN, view the service history and it will show you all the services that have been done/reported by Lexus dealerships.
