what happens if its past the 5-years retain value does that means that the resale is not as high?

They just use the 5 year value on all the cars to show how much % of the value they are still keeping after 5 years for comparison purposes.

either way most of us on here have our 2is's modded so the value won't be as high anyways at least to a stealership but hey if you're lucky you might find someone that wants to buy your car all hooked up with some of your money back which I've done and I'm sure many others have with their previous cars

I wonder how much NOT having a 3IS influences the 2IS numbers. Generally, one of the biggest things that dumps resale value on a car is when the next model debuts. Obviously this hasn't happened yet with the 2IS, which is at the tail end of it's life.
