Engine coolant temperature is 40°C (104°F) or less and vehicle speed is at 45 km/h (28 mph) or less.
When mine shift back to 5th from 6th and hold 5th for long time, I had already driven 40+ miles or 45+ minute of drive at highway speed in socal (70mph). Temp gauge is at half so I am pretty sure coolent temp is at normal operating temperature.

^ Same here, think its a feature to not accelerate while going down hill. but my always shifts back when I level out. Its weird that some of you say that ill stay in 5th after the hill is over.
