Question Check engine and VSC lights on after changing headlights!?!

So I recently changed out my HID bulbs on my 08 IS350, and immediately after I did so the check engine and VSC lights came on. While installing, I had disconnected the MAF sensor in order to move the intake out of the way. I read that if you put the car in accessory mode with the MAF still disconnected to check the headlights (which I did), these lights will come on but then go away on their own once the sensor is connected.

I drove around for a while but the lights never went away, so I cleared them with an OBD2 scanner. The lights were gone when I started the car, however.....

The lights came back on the second time I started the car! :O I double-checked that the sensor is plugged in. I know there must be something stupid that I missed- any ideas?

I had the same problem after replacing my bulbs. I got the VSC light to go off by cleaning the MAF sensor with a can of air spray (used for computers)
