Congrats on the 250 and welcome to CL. Happy modding. You might wanna consider F-Sport springs for a slight drop to lessen the wheel gap.
Lol, my first car was a Sti back in 02'. You and your bro are very fortunate to have good cars at such a young age.

Congrats on graduation and getting the new "used" IS.
As for mods, I would start with the basics, 1. springs or coil overs, 2. Intake, 3. Exhaust, and body kit. Just do a search on this forum and you'll find many ideas and pictures of SGM with different mod combinations. Good luck on your journey and enjoy the ride.
Haven't been to Kent, but have visited friends in Seattle, Spokane, Tacoma, Bellevue, Everett, and Federal Way. Beautiful state.

Congrats on your new car!
My favorite mods were the Tein S Tech springs and intake I installed. The first mod took away the stock "4 X 4" look of the vehicle while giving the car a sportier feel. The intake, made by Joe Z ,on the CL boards, gives the car a great sound at WOT and even adds a few hp, although hardly noticeable on my butt dyno.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy your lexi as I do mine!!
Take cares.
