I have the v12's and they are a great tire. Very sticky and responsive. However, they wear out very very fast. Hence the 280 tread wear rating. Im going on 8K miles and am going to need new rubber in the next few months.

Are you driving them really hard? I've got about 10-11k on mine now and plenty of tread left...

two of my friends have v12s and are getting in the range of 20-25k miles. I am switching to v12s by the end of this month and expect to get around 25k out of them. Do you have insane camber? getting 8k out of them is pretty unheard of
I have the Hankooks and I love them. They do seem to be wearing a little fast however.
i agree. i love my v12's but their responsive gripping only lasted me about 6-8 months with aggressive driving. from what i hear, FK452's don't last any longer compared to the evo's in terms of gripping

I am dropped on tien S-techs.
The rears seem to be wearing a lot better than the fronts. Maybe my front alignment is off and that is causing the abnormal wear. I'll get that checked out when I replace them.
