My new 2011 IS250 AWD
Finally I've purchased my brand new 2011 IS250 AWD!!
When I bought it it had 38km, and is only the AWD model with the leather and moonroof package.
A month prior to buying the car, I made sure to pick this site apart to see exactly WHAT I was buying, and I have gotta say it's been a huge help.
I am located in BC so if there are any meets this summer on the pacific coast, lemme know!
Here are some photos taken fron a friend's friends place:
I do however, have noticed one thing that somewhat bothers me about the interior of the car. The center concole in my package is glossy black, and I've noticed it scratches VERY easily. The photo below shows the exact opposite haha, but only after driving 100km, i noticed a few scratches and was wondering if by applying a little bit of regular car wax would help clean that up?
It appears I still have to wait for more front lips to be released for this type of bumper, but in the interim I hope to make some subtle adjustments. Anyone have any mod suggestions for this color combination?

When we were pricing everything out, I had the following packages available:
1. Just the basic model (fabric seats, etc)
2. moonroof w/ leather
3. moonroof w/ leather and navigation
4. Luxury Package
I was not happy over the fact that you needed to purchase the Luxury Package in order to receive the HID headlights... Thought it was a bit ridiculous IMO considering the competition.

Is the HIDs +LED standard for 2011 IS250's in the US? Noticed quite a few of the members here have them, some dating back to 2009

Congrats ...... Go to any motorcycle shop and pick up a can of Plexus, greatest product ever made for shiny plastic surfaces. Spray it on and wipe clean with a microfiber cloth and most of the fine scratches will disappear. Great also for the plastic shield over the instruments, front lights, and window tint surfaces.

yep its standard in the US. hopefully a good deal for the LED headlights come up soon. I'd love to get a hold of a pair myself.
