Default Name brand tires for stretching

I am getting 19x9.5 and 19x10.5 with a 22 offset
What is a good name brand tire if I am going to have natural camber and a 225/35 and a 245/35 stretch
Thanks!

many people are using the Hancook Ventus V12 for their quality in testing and PRICE. I run those myself.

i use General Exclaim UHP, most VIP/VIPStyle cars here use it, they stretch very well/never seen any bubbles on the sidewall/good grip in the rain/380 tread wear rating~ all in all very good tire.

Curious, would a tire with a reinforced sidewall (example, my BFG KDWs) be a better or worse option for stretching?

I've been hearing about the Achilles ATR Sport are good for stretching. I'm thinking of going with Achilles or General Exclaim UHP on my next set up.

Falken 512s are recommended a lot on Stanceworks.

Check out this thread for people's opinions on them and other tires..

+1. I believe there is a new tire that took over the UHP that is just as good of a tire.

You want to get tires with a softer sidewall/rim protector to give it that stretched look. My last car I stretched nankangs (205/40 on 17x9). They are not name brand per se but I really liked the stretch it gave. Federal is not bad either, but get a size lower if you're going federal or general, they tend to run wide.

^ With a softer sidewall, will there be a higher chance of it bubbling?

It could. Alot of people I've known through the forums have had lots of issues with their falkens bubbling.

agreed, the falkens are known for bubbling. I am currently stretching federals 225 on a 9inch wide. looks good and since I go through tires every 6 months @$107 a pop their great.

i have used falken 452's in my last 3 sets of wheels and love them. Yes they are known for bubbling sidewalls. However it depends on how much stretch you plan on running.

I really like the Dunlop Direzza. They are very reasonably priced, stretch well, and ride well too.
