Another reason why people should have a coffee in the morning..
Well this is one of those stories which you don't like to share..
driving on the highway at around 7:30am on my way to work...stand still traffic on the 401 (reppin' the crappy Toronto 401 West @ mccowan)..so i'm stopped on the highway and enjoying my favourite news station AM 640 (lol)...i look up to check the rear view mirror...a HUGE Dodge Ramm was 1 second away from ramming me...i think to myself "Sh..." and BAMM...i just got rammed by a Dodge Ramm...bumped my head on the wheel and bumped the car in front of me (which i was at least half a car length behind)...the a-hole didn't apologize...AT all (not all us canadians are nice)...doesn't even try to make sure i was ok...i flipped out on him and called the police...the guy's bumper bar was bent..that was it...gg for me and black bear (all pics taken with samsung galaxy s2..not bad huh?):
^^^^^^if you zoom in on stewie (driver side rear passenger) you can see his reaction too -_-
well anyway, the guy must have been going at least 80km/h..i heard him brake at the last second but too late...i'm alright...just a mark on my forehead but that guy...i swear...i wanted to tear him apart..anyway, estimate from police was $10k....final quote from insurance was $12k..i was worried about it being a write off since I really don't want to get another car...anyway, if you can see from the pic..the driver side rear tail light was deemed not damaged and the insurance was only going to pay for everything plus only the trunk and passenger side rear tail lights..i wanted a different set of lights anyways so i tried these clear smoked ones...i got em on now and black bear is back in terrific shape (i was amazed at how my HKS and my rear lip weren't damaged at all...so they are back on and looking good)...anyway, the tails...i thought they would be more smoked than this...what u guys think? i at least have the option of tinting it with Rvinyl for $30 so if it's too bling at least i can cut that down (was thinking the light smoke, 87%, from RVinyl...does anyone have that on?)...Aerotect is just too expensive and their shipping to Toronto is a little ridiculous

i just hope the tails aren't too bling..i thought they were gonna be darker to be honest but the LEDs are wonderful and it does look pretty good at night...maybe i'm just not used to them?
to the driver of the ram-atleast your ok and your car looks ok again!
