The reason that I don't use the ashtray because it's not smooth, I'm afraid it might scratch the phone's screen. I might do something about it.

It's a Kuda mount with Dice electronics cradle. Kuda-USA.com about $200 shipped.

I found the mount. But had to search for a phone holder to attach to it.

Ended up using a Ram Mount one.

I just keep mine hooked in to the aux cable and with the console shut it stays put...
