Thanks for the replies! I was very upset and frustrated, but what can I do, but hope that karma catches up. If I would have seen him, then that's a different story!
Forgot to mention that I'm in SoCal in the San Gabriel valley. Any shop recommendations are appreciated. I just hope that he didn't hit the wheel and cause any suspension damage!

Did you go looking down the street for the person responsible? A friend was at my house a few years back and the same thing happened, I went looking down the street later and found a van with a flat tire and damage that matched the damage on my friends car. Called the cops and they had the car towed and got the owner of the car. Insurance took care of the rest. The car was totaled. After that I had the lawn removed on the side of my yard by the garage and concrete poured I no longer park on the street.
Sorry to hear about your loss and good luck.
Jeff

file a police report so they can have a lookout for the corresponding damage on the other vehicle. Depending if the person was in the neighborhood to visit family will determine if you see him again. Sorry to hear it man. I cant belieive nobody heard the crash.

Damn sorry to see you car got hit like that! I can tell you both Platinum VIP and Longo Lexus are pretty good choices for repair shops. I know Longo Lexus offers a lifetime warranty on all their work, and i think Platinum VIP does too. I wanted to take my car to Platinum VIP when i needed repairs, but they aren't AAA approved apparently, so i just went with Longo Collision. The work they did was good, they just weren't the best at communication. There were just a couple other things they did that i would dock them for.... they lost my registration sticker on the window and scratched my window tint - those shouldn't have happened. After having met and spoken with Kennedy from Platinum VIP at a meet, i'm sure my car would have been in better hands at Platinum VIP.

WOW! Someone did a damage. Possible its a drunk driver since around this time lots of drinking going on.
A cousin of mine and my sister just got into a DUI accident, some douchbag plowed the rear when they were at a full stop. Luckily they were the last vehicle so the impact was not that harsh.
For your vehicle, i would suggest report it to the police.
