Question How much time did you spend at the dealer when you bought your car?

Hello all. Given I know buying a car isn't as simple as going to your local Best Buy to get a computer, I can't be bothered with how much time it takes to buy a car. It took me about 7 hours to get my car. How about you? How much time did you drop at the dealer?

About six hours! Working the deal was not long but since the car had the ugliest set of after market wheels, we had to have them remove and swaped them for oem wheels.

I spent so many days to test drive so many different make/models (including BMW 3, BMW 5 series, Audi A4, A6, Infinity G35X, Hyundai Genesis, Kia K5, Lexus ES350, Mercedes, Acura TL, etc) Some of these cars, I drove multiple times myself, with family in the backseat.
Then when finally drove IS250, it felt just right!
So went several dealerships to find a best deal.
Once found the car I want, I test-drove then offered a deal. They didn't take it. Called me next day and counter offered me then we agreed on a price. Drove back to dealership, spent about 3-4 hours finish paperwork, finalizing all the options such as venture shield, etc.
So in total, hmmm how many hours? I have no idea. It wasn't easy at all. But at the dealer, spent about 7-8 hours total I guess.

1 hour. Only bc it was an hour away from me in another city. I spent about an hour on the phone negotiating. It was a 07 CPO they emailed me plenty of pics and the car fax so I knew it was exactly what I wanted after two and a half months of searching. Came with cash in hand did the paper work and i was good to go.

It took me 15mins, came in, signed the contract and left (negotiated the price over the phone prior and credit app faxed to the GM). No time to waste sitting around at the stealership.

Took me 30 minutes. Called them on the phone the previous day about the car and agreed upon a price. When I got there, I test drove it for 10 minutes. I should have driven it more but seemed good to me. Ate some donuts they bought us when we went to test drive. Negotiated a bit more then signed the papers and left.

Wow you must've not read any of the warranty or loan paper work then. Going through the CPO paperwork took at least 15 20 min then they try to sell you the extended warranty and take more of your time.

2 hours and that's including the test drive. I knew what I wanted and what to look for so that made it easy.

Took me a lot of time, most dealers I dealt with weren't even willing to talk to me unless I made a trip to their dealership physically. . lots of them were playing games . .

About a week's worth of emailing. Then once I agreed to a deal with a dealer, about two hours to get credit checked and sign the papers. Emailing saved me a ton of time and gas.
