Default 08' IS250 AWD Engine Coolant Leak, How Bad?

did some reading on the forum and does not appear to be a leaking hose as the fluid is all caked at the cap and on the engine. i do not have access to presurize it so am asking what do you guys think before i take it in to the shop. also, the oil is NOT milky so it's not mixing.

as you can see from the photos that the engine coolant is caking around the cap and seems to have leaked down the container. (photo 1)

what i am concerned about is that it seems to be coming out of something in the engine bay. (photos 2 & 5)

photos 3 & 4 show area where i see the pink caked on too.

any ideas before i take it in on how bad this is going to set me back? i added cup of water since i was an inch below the minimum.

thanks!

It appears the be the infamous water pumps on these 2ISs. Unfortunately very normal. Take it to the dealership, and it should be covered under your powertrain warranty.

Yeah, just watch you temp guage. Have you yet to see the temp gauge go beyond the halfway point? If so, you should be good...but watch it on the trip and go slowly, no romping on it until fixed. Good luck!
