Around here, you have your plate before you get the car, so you leave the dealership with it on there. Thus, I have never experienced this, not sure if it would be a big deal though, I mean it's just a license plate, lol.

to each its own... I personally do not mind the plates... I got my rho-plate thingy so I didn't have to drill holes on my front bumper. I actually was excited to get my plates, because I was tired of having to get special passes to get my vehicle onto base....

 

I had that experience once, but it was because the plate the DMV gave me had this sequence of numbers on it : 666. Lol!

 

I hate the temp tags. Esp. when they get wet. I have a cool University of Louisville plate though....So I rep in style lol and no front plates needed here.

 

I still don't have my front plate . . I've had the car for 1.5 yrs..

 

Just get a specialized plate. Takes all that pain away!
