Default 18" F-Sport wheel upgrade AWD from Lexus

What is the tire size on the 18" rim?

Was reading up on plus sizing tires. Does the AWD tire circumfrance need to be within a certain diameter from each other or the stock 225/25 17?

I believe they are 225/40/18 all around. Someone correct me if i'm wrong.

For AWD, its recommend to have the same size wheels and tires all around.

Does it have to be the same diameter as the stock 17's or just the same size all the way around?

Same size all the way around is fine. Just know if its smaller or larger than stock diameter there will be a slight difference in your actual speed vs what your speedometer will show. There are people that run staggered set ups on AWD too. Just most people like to keep the same set up all around regardless of the difference from overall stock size on AWD cars.

Yes, definitely get them all the same size. My previous Mercedes C300 4MATIC was staggered in stock form and couldn't rotate the tires

If the overall diameter of the new wheels is bigger than the stock 17's will that mess up the transmission at all?

No, as long as they are equivalent. Plus, it's also a supported size from Lexus so there is no problem.

Nope. Plus if it's bigger it slows the speedo a bit. No harm to transmission either.

Try to keep the same overall wheel/tire diameter to keep speedo true. Gl
They have wheel calculators for that.
