There is an rubber plug if I remember correctly behind/near the battery. Just take a razor blade and slice it and done. It comes out on the passenger side floor under the glove box.

The plug is behind the battery, and it is part of a larger grommet. It has a "tit" that sticks out, and you can cut the end off of it and run the wire straight through from there. The only issue, is that you can't get anything larger than an 8ga wire to fit through there. If you need larger, you will have to drill....... I used the grommet for a run of 8ga earlier, but had to drill for a pair of 4ga runs later. For the record, I drilled just above that grommet, and slightly to the right. Be VERY careful if you drill!

You need to remove the battery if that's what you asked in the previous post.

I managed to stuff 4 gauge wires into the rubber grommet. It took a little bit of work, but its very possible.

you'll need to remove the battery, pull out the rubber grommet, pierce through the rubber, run the wire through, place the grommet back into place, and silicone the wire/grommet area.

Thank you thank you. I found the grommet behind the battery, but not the steering wheel. Tried to hook up hid but didn't work. Guess I'm going to pay Tommy at matchbox 100 to do it. Switch for fog n drl hid.3000k. Going old school style like on the gs300 old body
