IS250 Fuel Pump Failure Symptoms
Hello all,
Today I noticed a wired sound coming from the trunk area (underneath the car) and It sounded like a kettle or espresso machine. As soon as I floored the gas this noise went way. Do you think this could be a starting symptom of fuel pump failure? It's a 2006 IS250 and the fuel pressure sensor recall was done not too long ago. Any comments would be appreciated.
Thanks

Your gas tank is below your rear seat not the trunk. Remove your gas cap and listen for noise from the gas filler. If its louder then it's possible that your fuel pump is ready to go. Usually Toyota fuel pump don't fail that soon and if it fails, it doesn't make any noise, it just stop working.
