Default HID ballast replacement/H11/9005 replacements

Hi guys, I'm having some trouble locating the answers to my problem using the search function so I figured I would ask this in the 2IS forum because I would get a quicker response.

Here's my situation, the D4S projector light in my passenger side headlight has gone out due to water getting in the headlight. I've purchased a new headlight and will replace that, but when I tested the ballast from the bad headlight on the other side of the car that was in good condition, the new spare HID bulb I had was not coming on so I know the ballast is cooked.

So my most immediate problem is that I need to replace the ballast, anyone have the part number or a link where I can buy it? I can't seem to find it on Sewell's OEM replacement section. Do I have to buy OEM replacement or do one of these HID manufacturers have an option for me?

While I have the bumper off, I'm going to replace the H11 and 9005 bulbs with Volt HID kits. I would like to change out the E4 bulbs too if someone knows a good brand of those.

The ballast isn't removable from the headlight without either disassembling the headlight or the ballast cord (to the bulb), as the AFS motor is in the way. Lexus doesn't sell the ballast separately for 06-10 models (you have to buy the whole headlight to get the ballast), however you can get the ballast from an 11+ model and use it (but like I said, it can't be replaced without disassembling either the ballast cord or the headlight itself). The part number for the ballast is 81107-53501.

Thanks for the heads up Jeff. I need to replace a whole headlight housing and a ballast so it seems as if purchasing these headlights will do me no good. I'd appreciate it if you could let me know ASAP so I can cancel this transaction I got myself in to. I should just order a new one off of sewell's website huh?

Well, I mean it's possible to make those work, but I'd suggest if you just need one and don't want to mess with ballasts/cord disassembly that you just buy a new headlight from Sewell/Lexus.

I think this has just caused me to sack up and do the 2011 LED upgrades.... I sent the guy I was buying the items from a message to cancel. Hopefully he gets it in time.
