Hell the body shop that I take my car too took a week to just paint my spoiler. They took that long as they corrected the slight imperfections the spoiler had and wanted to make sure it was flawless before they gave it back to me.

I found a shop in orlando that will do it in 3 days for $350-375. Just to make sure he uses the right materials, I should tell him to use duraglass right? Instead of body filler because body filler cracks after a while with the trunk slamming?
and how can i make sure that's all hes using and not some sort of bougie mixture? thanks

Even with body filler it will be fine .... Unless you are banging your trunk closed which you shouldn't do anyway. Mine is duraglass and body filler. And no real way to make sure he is doing it right if you don't know the process yourself lol. But you can tell if a person is confident about their skills. And at the price of 350 to 375 I would wonder. That's ultra cheap to mold a wing flush and repaint a entire Lexus trunk IMO . Unless he is just hooking you up. It's gonna take a minimum of 10 hours of labor to do a great job from prep , molding , paint and cleaning the car. Not to mention taking apart the trunk and putting it back together. So after supplies that like 25 bucks a hour. No good body shop would go lower then 50-60 a hour at the minimum. Just something for you to think on bro.

Here's mine
Done in Australia for $700 AUD ($688 USD)
Tooks 6 days in the shop
One thing that the guy mentioned is when he left it in the sun today,
he said it seemed to warp a bit.
I looked at it closely and could barely tell what he was talking about.
He basically said these chinese made replica spoilers etc don't have UV protection or something.
Eitherway from what I understood worst case scenario is hopefully just the paint might not look as smooth,
but from what i saw today it's really not noticeable unless you're a painter lol.
Time will tell!!
eitherway it was worth it
here are the pics
He did a really amazing job to be honest
