I haven't had to do much maintanence since I bought it. There's not that much CF showing actually. It's only where the Lexus badge is and the top of the apex of the spoiler...and they look just fine still. No yellowing.

Here are my pics. Authentic CF WALD spoiler. Molded and shaved at the sides, so no raised quarters necessary here. I just noticed I didn't take pictures of the CF areas...so I'll post some later.

Not molded but I got this back from the body shop today. Now I just need to wait to get the car back from the dealer to install it .

Nope decided not to mold it, I want to get an LS after I get my wife an RX. I figured not molding it would make it easier to return the car to stock when it comes time to trade her in.

I'm planning on getting a rep one so I went to the shop and asked if they could mold it.
They said that they wouldn't recommend it due to the material being weak to vibrations and easy to crack.

My question is, have any of you had any problems with this?
Which material is stronger? Epoxy or fiberglass?
Also, what does it mean to raise your quarters?

I used duraglass which holds up better than anything when it comes to molding to metal and my trunk vibrates for sure I have a alpine type x 12 in the trunk. Check the first page my original post will show u the differences between raised quarters and not raised. When i first molded mine I didn't raise the quarters. Also click on my profile you can check my two previous threads and this link fotki.com/remydee and you can see the process of molding the spoiler then when i was raising the quarters.

just to add to the post above:

epoxy and fiberglass kinda go together
you lay the fiberglass into the epoxy or lay the fiberglass and pour the epoxy over it
you can't really use fiberglass without some sort of material to bond it

Oh wow, raised quarters looks a lot smoother and cleaner!
Have you had any problems with it cracking or being damaged?

yep raised quarters not only gets rid of the ridiculous drop between the quarter and the spoiler but also matches up the body line from the spoiler to the quarter vs how some opted to just shave the spoiler down some. but no I have not had any problems with cracking what so ever. I took about a week and a half doing the body work laying thin and smooth coats and put in a lot of work to make it just right.

This is what I'm packing
