Default SNOW BOUND- Awesome Tires!!!!

So I'm here in WA and we finally got our snow this weekend, out of Irony my LOW TIRES warning lights came on the exact same weekend :P

So I went to firestone and they suggested the Bridgestone Potenza RE-970AS for my stock 16s. I looked up the reviews and they seemed very good getting about a 8.50 average score out of 10.00.

After getting my car back this thing is absolutely the ****!

I drove all the way home with no slipping in our 6" of snow and ice (Washington has TONS of hills) then because the 6" of snow was gonna freeze tonight I did donuts in our street breaking down all the snow that is 6" and would scrape other cars. Boy these things are great. In fact they are much softer, quieter, and handle better than the stock tires the IS250 comes with.

Truly fun.

Interesting new tire from Bridgestone. Thanks for the quick review. I've been a fan of the Continental DWS for a long time. Maybe I'll try these Bridgestones for my next set

If I lived in a snowy climate I'd just buy a dedicated set of snow tires for the winter ...

I had potenzas on my IS when I bought it, And was not happy with them.

I love my michelin pilot sport 2 tires

I recently threw on a set of Michelin X-Ice 2's on my IS350 AWD and couldn't be happier. Snow, ice, whatever! I'm good to go!

Standard tires that came with the 2011 IS250 AWD, with 17,000 miles on them.
