For Me, being how low you are is personal preference. There are people who are happy on being way slammed and there are people who are just happy with a modest drop, and there are people who just dont want it lower than factory.

I hate rubbing!! always gives me this mini heart attack. We have so many speedbumps more than you can ever imagine, too much construction on roads too. I had to raise a "little", and did more fender mods. Now I barely rub, and if it does, it's not even loud, it doesn't bother me.

was slammed, tired of every scrape, speed bump or uneven road while speeding 80+ on the freeway to scrape whole underside and fender. Got thicker tires and raised a little besides cutting fenders and lining. Now driving is much better. Sure looks good slammed to the floor but not fun. JMHO

Im not slammed, but lowered to the point where everyone notices. I love the look and reaction of people, but my driving experience has dropped greatly from constant worrying and driving slow. Its a trade off. Pros: Sexier car and compliments/looks from people. Cons: contant worrying caused by damage from scraping, potholes, bad roads, and you become a cop magnet. Especially for me being on the east coast, it makes it even harder with the snow and the crappy roads. I just got a vertex rep lip, but im not sure if im gonna keep it cause it hangs lower to the ground compared to the gfx, sigh /:

The "Lowrider Song" is now playing in your head.

All my friends know the low rider
The low rider is a little higher
Low rider drives a little slower
Low rider is a real goer
Low rider knows every street yeah!
Low rider is the one to meet yeah!
Low rider don't use no gas now
Low rider don't drive to fast
Take a little trip
Take a little trip
Take a little trip and see
Take a little trip
Take a little trip
Take a little trip with me

1. i don't have camber kit..i have camber wear and i just had the tires for 6 months.
2. I changed by fender liner threes times from hitting the tires.
3. You can 't drive as fast anymore, not like you used to. so thats sux..everyone tries to race you.
4. Horrible freeway here in So.CAl..i mean jacked up road and most of them are truck lanes..
I guess this what you get from driving low..YOU get compliments though....
lol i completely agree with you..

i hate those fender liners.. and they get expensive.. I wish I had a beater to drive so I can ride the IS without fender liners on a sunny day..
