Very true. But on the bright side Lexus corporate is very determined to fix it, it's just that the dealerships don't have the proper people to fix the problems. But we'll see what Lexus does next. Already offered me 2 free oil changes. Good, but not good enough.

Take it to your dealer! Tell them all the information you know. The should cover it.

Guys,
I have an update for everyone--

first of all, I would like to say Wilkie Lexus of Pennsylvania, Haverford.. has the best service department available. I am saying this because they have gone above and beyond to provide excellent service.
I have reported that I was having the dash rattles and they were kind enought o replace all the old Clip, and insulated the entire Dash and instrument cluster.

with all the serivce performed to my car I now only hear a plastic knocking/rubbing noise from the dash when I am driving 20MPH to 40MPH, anything above that the car is amazing smooth.

so when i am driving t 20MPH and 40MPH, I hear this temporary noise, I will not call it a rattle, its more or less something is knocking on plastic or maybe a gear changing at that point.

But the noise is there and Wilkie Lexus is more than willing to isolate this noise issue for me, I feel bad for the guys since I have asked them to do much to this car, so without going in additional details
with the behaviour I have mentioned above can somoene please give me an idea or advice to tell the service department to look at?

I would appreciate your help.

You sure this is not related to this issue that I have discovered with my 2008 IS250?

I have an update as well.

So at Sterling McCall Lexus, Houston.. I have been bringing my car in for the cabin creaking noise. They have done all the TSIB including replacing the rear view mirror, insulating drivers seat, dashboard clips and insulation.

NOW. The guys are telling me that they have isolated the problem to the drivers side A-Pillar of my car and it needs to be spot welded because something is loose?

Idk how much truth is in that, but we'll see I get the car back either tomorrow or Monday!

Hope they fix your issue. I don't have any noise from my dashboard now after the last fix but I still do get some plastic rubbing noises rarely on rough roads as if they were coming from central console or from my passenger door storage compartment.

I would like to point out also that I have too much road noise which could be attributed to the stock tires that I still have which are Bridgestone Potenza's. I guess the noise will drastically reduce once I change even these. Can't wait for my treads to wear off soon now.
