Default Stupid question and pics after a car wash

Hey guys,

I think this is most likely a stupid question but it seems like when i hit off on my ac/heat only sometimes does it actually go completely off. Sometimes when I am near the vents something still comes out. I have a feeling it's because I have something else selected on the thermostat or something. My IS 300 did the same thing and I guess it was "normal" I found that out after getting so frustrated that I punched and cracked my windshield. I really don't want to have to buy a new windshield on this one now because I get mad.

Anyway, here is a picture I took the other day of my car and our most recent pick up. 1990 corvette ZR-1 with 6,100 original miles. Getting tint tomorrow, thinking I will do 30-35%

If you change the setting so your a/c doesn't use the air from the outside you should be fine. There is a button that has a car drawn on it with a arrow pointing from the outside in. Hope this helps.

Damn you got so mad you cracked your windshield? Gotta relax a bit bro

But yeah, do like JayDMiS said, hit the recirculate air button and you won't have that air coming in anymore. No need to crack your windshield in frustration...and a new OEM one will set you back about $1400 at the dealership btw if your thinking about breaking it

haha thanks guys. I must have hit it in just the right spot on my old one but it only cost me 145$ but the place screwed it up and the pillar was all rusted within a couple months. We learn from our mistakes I suppose
