Default HID Problem. new member, NEED HELP

hi, i have an 09 is250 RWD and i just got 4300 HIDs installed, looks good and everything. But i keep my lights on auto, and when i turn my car on at night and expect it to turn on, it doesn't. I have to manuelly turn them off auto and turn them back on, and than they work. ANYONE KNOW WHY, HELP PLEASE AND THANK YOU.

OEM HIDs or aftermarket PNP kit in halogen housing?

Well, if it's aftermarket, it's probably not drawing enough power (when the engine is off) to ignite the bulbs, as you probably didn't run a relay harness from the battery. And you shouldn't have it on auto with an aftermarket kit anyways...constantly turning HID bulbs on and off shortens the lifespan of the bulbs and ballast.
Basically, the easy fix would to be to run a relay harness to the battery so it can constantly supply enough juice to ignite the bulbs, whether the engine is on or off.

Yup ... you need a relay to the battery... Aftermarket kits draw a lot of power, and your car probably isn't supplying enough juice to fire them up.
