Hey guys, Just as a intro, I am 22 years old and previously owned a Pontiac G6 Base model. I have been working for the past few months and have been able to save up enough money to buy a new car outright and have sold my Pontiac. I am looking at a 2009 Lexus IS250 at the moment. Just wanted to get your guys input on what you think of the car and what you like and dislike
.
So please dont mind and let me know what you guys think are the pro's and con's of the vechile
The vehicle I am looking at is a charcoal gray 2009 lexus IS250 with very low miles and also with the which I believe is the X package. Comes with all the bells and whistles; Backup camera, sun roof, push button, navigation.
As a side question do all is250's come with HID's or some with the yellow lights bulbs?![Confused](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/confused.gif)
It looks very similiar to this one same everything basically

the thread Calvin linked to has a buyers guide.
The bad news is you're in Canada, so all the info on optioning and how to tell what it has won't help you much, since cars are optioned totally different in Canada.
Best bet might be to get the VIN, there's a few guys on here that work for Lexus who can look the car up for you and tell you exactly what's on it.
Two thoughts though:
1) Be sure the car is fast enough for you. If it's not there's little you can do to improve it. But it's only 10% more for a 350, which is 50% more power. (in the US anyway, price gap might be different in the Great White North)
2) If you plan to get a car with Nav and are looking at 09s, consider looking at '10s... they have the next-gen nav system in them that does quite a bit more (and a much upgraded audio system too, bluetooth music streaming, USB port with built in ipod interface, etc).
