UPDATE!!!

hey guys, i have purchased 2012 6Gen Navigation with receiver came with all harnesses including multimedia interface kit.
Today i have tried to install it and had some problems repin(rewire) amp,speakers and climate control, navigation is working i repined few wires and it worked!
but no sound and climate control error. i have downloaded whole wiring diagram for IS350 and 2012 ISx50 but it's really confusing to understand if anyone has experience with rewiring audio system on 2008 and 2012 IS please help me out! i would really appreciated! thanks

We're not on 24/7 reading every single thread... Not everyone would know the answer - there is a few members that do work for Lexus and who may know the answer. Patience is a virtue.

Safe to say 08 is not compatable since the 10+ is a hard drive based Navigation which is GEN 6 while the 06+ cars is GEN 5 which is DVD based.

 

it not because your new, its a tough question that not many have encountered most likely before.

im interested to find out when an answer is found though.

 

It's actually been discussed before sometime ago. I think Jeff Lange knows the answer.

For one thing, the GEN 6 has features that GEN 5 does not have so it would not exactly work.

 

Well its definitely not plug and play, the harnesses are different for one.
