I bought a used 2009 and sometimes the music sounds flat or hollow. Like there's a big chunk of frequencies that are missing. The speakers may be fine, it could be the radio station I'm listening to has issues. Is there a way to test each speaker to see if it's working correctly?
Also, in general when you drive at high speed, should there be a noticeable drop in sound quality? I feel like there is, but the car is still pretty quiet at those speeds so I'm not sure why that would be the case. Diagnosing the sound system is really hard since so much of it is subjective (whether a song sounds "right" or not) so it would be nice to have some objective way to make sure it's working ok.

If you have Navi , the best thing you could do is play a music cd and you could select from the screen which speakers you want to play music. I'd advise you to select one speaker at a time to see if any of your speakers have blown. If all your speakers are fine then I guess something is wrong only with your radio station.

I think you can only test the 4 corners of the car since there are sets of speakers in each door (13 speakers total)
use the fade and left right controls to turn off the sound to all speakers except the corner you are interested in, then put your ear to each set in that corner specifically.
