Default Is there a way to scroll faster? (iPod)

I have the nav system with an iPod hooked to it. I have > 50,000 files on the iPod. Some of the lists like artists and playlists are VERY long. Is there a way to skip around without having to hold the down button?

That interface is not the greatest. I have a huge library on my iPhone as well and it takes for-ev-er to navigate through the music. Not only that but each time I page it starts playing the first song from the first artist on that page.

I am in the same boat as you and have yet to find a solution.

No. Once I plug in my iPod classic the screen changes. Can't play with the iPod UI at all while plugged in.

Mine is the same way. I can still use my phone and apps but when I try and go to "music" it shows that another device is controlling it.

I tried bluetooth but if I remember corretcly the sound was better using the USB interface.

Anything that connects to the iPod/iPhone has to be controlled on navi other than AUX. BT-A you can control from phone.

This is not just an iPod or audio issue. It's the navigation interface in general... I wanted to add Wells Fargo as a POI icon. I think it was almost three minutes before the scrolling got to the Ws.

I sure wish it worked like an i<DEVICE> where the longer you hold the button the faster it scrolls.

Oh well
