Yeah def. gotta try those sign companies around here but I did go to a shop that does custom inteior and they said they could wrap the roof for $400 including material, but that's honestly too much right?

I've heard price quotes between $200-300. Look around. If i had a white or silver car i would totally wrap my roof, but my car is black

Yeah I've gotten quotes for both paint and vinyl
Vinyl = $300 and up
Paint = around $600

You could find 'em cheaper depending on your location

Why do people do this?

I understand if you have solar panels (prius) or some massive moonroof (E350 benz) but I think it looks better if you just leave it alone...

yeah mines a Tungsten Pearl and I think the black roof would just make it stand out more and boofster it just looks cool

Personal preference. I like the panoramic look and my black roof blends very well with the tinted rear windshield. I wanted something black on my car for contrast that wasn't too obnoxious (ex. black hood, black trunk, etc.) Doesn't scream for attention but people are still able to notice it.


I believe they used 3M on mine. 3M never let's me down

^^thats pretty cool but only thing is....its not 3M and I don't want it being a cheap company with no gaurntee on their product. antenna can easily be painted black and this blackout roof is why im holding off on gettin my roof spoiler. I want it to be all gloss black.

You apply the 303 protectant once a week?! Damn pretty often haha. Is this what you use? The Protectant after washing? Or you actually use the cleaner for convertible tops made by 303 Aerospace.

About 2 weeks ago I had my roof wrapped in satin black. Love it. Going back to get my lip spoiler wrapped to match with my satin black emblems, roof, and shark fin. Looks awesome. Had it wrapped in MacTac film. Supposedly it looks better then 3M.
