They used both. And body filler will last just as long as you are slamming on the trunk . The trunk doesn't get stressed like a body kit does

overtime heat will make that body filler shrink, doesn't it?

Yeah it does. That's why it has a coat of duraglass on there first. And the shop gives 7 year warranty on their work. So I am good

I know what you mean .. is tricky, you need to cut the 3m tape wide enough to touch both side edge

Yeah use the 3m in small strips or go get some clear rtv . Peels right up when you want it off
