For those who had a body shop mold it, do you know exactly what they did? I went to one of the best body shops that was 50 miles from my house and they wanted about $900 to mold it and paint it. They also suggested that I do not bother with molding it cause the edges over time, maybe a year or two will crack due to heat expansion especially since my car is black, it absorbs a lot of heat. His point was that the edges will crack.
So now I'm going to just install mine without molding it. To deal with the fitment issues, he told me the spoiler is hollow. So today, I dremeled the inside out and now it fits good but the edges are still off so I'll add Bondo to fix that.

Myself and a few others really weren't that **** so 9 out of a 10 fitment works fine for me. And most who buy this wing intend on molding it at some point. If you got 600 bucks to spend on just the wing why not get the rep and just mold it. Looks 1000x better and is around 600-750 total (200 lip +450 or so body work and paint) just depends on where you live and what type of deal you get.
The body shop that did mine never even did a Wald wing mold before but the body work man had awesome skills and I just took him downloaded pics of molded Wald wings off this site. And he got mine perfect to my liking in 2 days

Haha no problem bro .... And most of the guys that have these just 3m taped on don't post up here or aren't that active. So hopefully aspeckt can post up pics when he finally gets his in his hands.

none of the body shops in my area want to mold this spoiler -__-
i def don't want someone who hasn't done it before either though. any recommendations as to what i should say to convince them its not that bad? what i really would like is for the paint to match when they're done

I have a question as well, for those of you who bought the wall wing auth/ rep . When you guys say you shave it of the sides what an where exactly do you shave to get it the clean sleek look? Can any one post a pictures on where you actually shave off? I just got one and about to take it to the shop and want to get this done.
