Default www.mycarstats.com: Who here has reported their issues?

Who here has setup a www.mycarstats.com account or reported issue there or https://www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov/ivoq/index.cfm?
My 2 cents... a few years ago when Mazda RX8 engines were blowing up before 60k and clutch pedals were snapping off due to cheap materials, someone in the RX8 forums suggested this site and asked everyone with the issues report it here. Long story short; the Powertrain warranty was extended to 100k, Mazda started replacing the clutch pedals under that warranty and reimbursing the people who have already has to pay to get it fixed out of warranty. I cant say this was the main reason Mazda extended the warranty but Im pretty sure once this info gets out there they will listen.
Don't flame me I just wanna out this out there for those of you who having the nav, carbon, trim, ect issues.

As kickin8 stated above, those are 2 very different website for very different purposes. The NHTSA website is only for safety-related complaints. I used this website to report a complaint when my 2003 E55 started leaking fuel from the sending units, causing a fire hazard. A few weeks after reporting the complaint someone from NHTSA called me and asked for some more information, though I never heard back from them and subsequently traded the car in.

The point is you wouldn't use NHTSA for things like nav and trim issues, and things like carbon build-up would be iffy (you'd have to show that the symptoms caused a safety hazard somehow).

I don't know anything about mycarstats.com, but clearly it has less pull and influence over a manufacturer than NHTSA would.
