Default Bearing hub assembly-any chance to fix this?

Hi there. I've found on ebay good deal on front bearing hub assembly. Asked the seller how much he wants for the item he replied $100. I sent money via paypal right away and he ended auction before time. I received hub today and I've noticed that the plastic part of abs sensor plug has cracked and the plug is missing a piece of plastic. Package looked ok, I figured that the guy sent me damaged part and he knew it... I put complaint on paypal and also I sent him complaint that I woud like to my money back We'll see what he say.

Anyway what d you think can is there any chance to fix this or glue somehow that plug to obtain good connection? Or this part is piece of junk now?
If I would have to glue it what glue would you recommend?

Thanks for help.

I wouldn't install that, even if you were able to glue it back together.

If your complaint gets you nowhere (it's happened to me before) this piece still looks useable. Bend the metal connector tab straight and put some rubber boot over the connector to keep moisture out. Try plugging that to the other side of the connector to see if it "clicks" on and will still hold in place with a little tug.

You can also use dielectric grease. It will help keep contact and keep corrosion out. Why can't you just use your old sensor on the new hub?

Thanks guys. Here's te deal. I paid $100 for it. I asked for full refund but guy offered me 50% refund which is sounds good to me. 50 bucks for brand new hub what normally cost $250 brand new is a worth a shot don't you think? We will see perhaps I gonna make it work good.

It looks fine. Just install it plug in the ABS / Speed sensor and wrap it with aluminum tape. It should be fine. For $50 it's a steal! They retail for close to $300.

Don't get all paranoid about the small plastic missing, it will plug in properly just wrap it well.

I've only owned my car about a month so haven't messed with this. After looking at the pic it does look like all one piece. You may want to do a search on that though.

There is no chance to swap this part from the old one. I glued this thing by permaproxy plastic weld , so far so good the glue between cracked parts looks really hard and strong
The only thing is I have to seal this really good to prevent water and dirt coming on electric connectors and all this should be fine - hope so...
