Definitely NOT 3528 LEDs. 3528 is a LED diode that is 3.5mm x 2.8mm and they are not that bright. The LEDs from the headlights look square and from the amount of light they produce should be high power... maybe 1w diodes.

^ That definitely looks like a custom projector retrofit for the high beams.

I'm throwing my money at the screen but nothing is happening.

A second bi-xenon projector correctly aligned with the stock 3" low would be quite a delight, but I'm not about to open up my new headlights, lol.

Come along with me on my journey of retrofitting S2k ap1 projectors in my 2011 headlights. Here is my build thread with pics/video http://www.hidplanet.com/forums/show...p-custom-paint

I however AM NOT doing a second projector where my highs once were.... Why you ask? Yes it does look cool but when I need to flash my high beams HID is not the way. Not to mention HIR bulbs, IMO, are much brighter, wider, and produce a taller beam of light then HID bulbs. This is my opinion may not be fact. But for my highs I prefer old school HIR's tried and true.

^^^^ wow just read your build. Big spender right there. That's going to be awesome. You basically picked everything I would have. Can't wait to see it!

To the OP, in my opinion the halos make your nice lights look cheap... But nice work none the less.

Yeah I agree about flashing, which makes it all the more surprising cars like the LFA and 4GS are only using a single Bi-Xenon with no halogen. I'm still running 9005 bulbs for my high-halogen's, but am considering HIR's. Not that I think I need more, I find the factory Bi-Xenon high + 9005 to be quite good.

I still think dual Bi-Xenon would be cool anyway, haha. Practical, maybe not as much, but still cool.

CCJ22 : You never seem to amaze me bro, you could have just used the s2K projectors and had great light output with a great cut off and leave it that. You could have also ran your current oem d2s bulbs and ballast.

My current D2s bulbs and ballasts are crap. They're 6k DDM bulbs and 35watt DDM ballasts that actually produce only around 28 watts. My windshield is tinted. Thus I'm going OEM ballasts ala the AL Bosch on boost to choose between 35watts all the way to 55watts.

35 when I'm in the city
55 when I'm out on Bee Line Hwy 710 in the sticks.

I don't want great cutoff. That's why I picked up some custom shields for that ultra sharp ME GUSTA cutoff

Not to mention the 2011 headlights take a D4S
